When I was younger I was a huge fan of the Jonas brothers, and Joe Jonas was always my favourite one. And now with the release of his new music video; 'Toothbrush' I have moe facts to back up the fact that he still is the best Jonas Brother.

Anyways, enough about Joe Jonas and more about the model in this music video; Ashley Graham. Ashley is a designer, a body activist and a plus size model who has been featured in numerous campaigns and magazines.

The first time I watched this music I had a smile on my face the whole time, it's so rare that you see any models above a size 8 in music videos so seeing someone that doesn't have an unachievable body in a music video is amazing!

Now, time to get a little personal, for years now I have felt pretty down about my body, from size 8 to size 12 I've never felt happy with it and I think majority of the problem comes from... you guessed it; the media. We are so used to only seeing tall, skinny blonde girls with big boobs, big butts, tiny hips and small thighs. So seeing Ashley in this music video gave me a huge confident boost because if she can look beautiful and sexy running around in a baggy white T-shirt and underwear, so can I.

I think it's really important to represent all types of women and men in media, not only for inclusivity but also for people to realise that beauty comes in a lot of different packages. I hope that Joe Jonas and his band DNCE have started a movement with this and I hope it will encourage more musicians to join in! It isn't often that I feel empowered and confident after watching a music video featuring a scantily clad model, but this is definitely a sign of change!
